Glud & Marstrand’s environmental policy

To take part in the global climate responsibility and focus on minimization of our environmental impact on the surroundings

• We therefore plan operation so that consumption of energy and raw materials is reduced to a minimum
•  We see to it that we focus as much as possible on minimization of resources and energy when we develop new products
• We address customers and interest groups on environmental aspects and recommend recycling of our products

To choose and cooperate with suppliers and partners who show will and ability to take climate and environment into consideration. 

In connection with Glud & Marstrand’s strategy process to lay down objectives for environmental and climate impact

As a minimum to comply with national and European environmental requirements. 

As concerns factories that have been certified according to Environmental Management System ISO 14001 we want to make sure:

That we - when initiating new activities in the organization - undertake to evalutate the environmental impact of the activity and to take precautionary measures in order to secure minimum impact on environment

That we train, inform and motivate our staff to increased awareness as to environment and climate (energy, resources, recycling) and that we make them take responsibility for their own work and to act according to the guidelines in force at the time in question

That we evaluate and test our environmental management system in order to secure continuous improvements as to environment and climate.
