G&M won a gold award for ’Best Decoration & Print Quality’ when the Canmaker Magazine in 2008 elected ’Cans of the year’.

It was the media packaging Steelbook™ G2 in Blu-Ray format that won the medal because of G&M’s newly developed crackle lacquer.

The lacquer which takes advantage of the metal reflection adds an antique look to the packaging.

G&M will continue to test the lacquer with the purpose of using it on other types of packaging.
