In 2004, decided by the Board of Directors, the company Zapata Envases, S.A. de C.V. merged with the company Envases Universales de México, S.A. de C.V., the latter persisting and subsequently modifying the trade name to Envases Universales de México, S.A.P.I. de C.V.

With this the integration of  the Industrial Group and the three divisions: Food and General Line, PET and Aluminum Division took place.
