G&M ensure that each employee has as much influence on his own work situation as possible.This is carried out by involving each employee in decisions regarding work planning and organisation, methods, quality and quantity.

Security of employment

Security of employment depends on the company’s progress. We place much emphasis on mutual dialogue and a high information level. G&M try to ensure that every employee knows the company’s current situation with respect to production, sales and economy, and what influence these factors have or may have on the employee’s situation and options

Training and development

G&M emphasise that it is the respective employee’s own responsibility to maintain and update knowledge and skills. Both personal and professional development are important elements in the company’s progress, and we encourage employees to further education.
 

Cooperation

Many tasks at G&M are completed by groups that consist of colleagues from various parts of the organisation.

It is important that our employees can participate actively in groups consisting of colleagues and superiors.

The employees are G&M’s most important resource.

It is therefore important that our staff can progress with the company.This is why we use staff reviews as a valuable tool to develop both the staff and the company.

Senior policy

G&M wish to be an attractive place of work for our senior employees. Therefore we have a policy that gives our senior employees the possibility to be on short time and the right to extra holidays.

Furthermore, G&M hold seminars to inform their employees about conditions that can be useful and necessary to know about in planning a good and substantial life either while working or when retired.
