Quality throughout the chain

It is important to us that high quality plays an essential role in all aspects of the work that each employee performs throughout any process. This is based on the fact that each employee is responsible for upholding the quality principles throughout the production chain.

Both processes and product quality are monitored by Glud & Marstrand’s quality department that has quality managers placed at each production facility.

The quality managers determine the goals and take care that the specified quality standards are upheld.

The quality manual

The quality manual describes how quality control is part of our management processes and our organisation, the performance of supporting processes, and how quality control is part of our core processes such as project management, order receipt, purchasing, goods reception and production – all the way to the customer.
 

Glud & Marstrand’s quality policy

1. To be a favoured partner who develops, produces and markets products in a quality that satisfies customer demand

2. To instruct and motivate all employees to do things right the first time, and by doing this contributes towards a constant quality improvement throughout the entire organisation

3. To select and cooperate with suppliers who show both the will and capacity to live up to our demands

4. To determine quality goals for the entire organisation with respect to G&M’s strategy and monitor them closely through the quality committee

5. To evaluate and test the quality assurance system constantly to continue the improvement of the efficiency of the system, and ensure that it always complies with ISO 9001:2008
