The judges said: -Unlike other special packaging solutions, SteelBook ™ metal media box is unique because it is 100 per cent automated and runs on existing fulfilment lines, the print techniques, which creates a premium photographic quality mixed with matt and glossy lacquers and the sophistication of the packaging also makes it complex and expensive to copy.

A unique lid became the decisive factor when a can developed by Glud & Marstrand for Cadbury Roses won the award in the Decorative/Promotional category. The lid offers a high reusability value of the tin and is design protected by Glud & Marstrand. Combining Cadbury Rose's own design, which elegantly uses the possibilities of the metal effect, the decorative tin ensures sustained branding with consumers.

In May, Glud & Marstrand won the Cannex award for its innovative Snap Top – a plastic lid for metal paint cans. The lid opens easily without tools and is of course resealable. The lid was developed in response to a consumer survey and makes it much easier for users to open and close the container while working.
Glud & Marstrand's Development Department won the prestigious award in the Prototype category, and the award was motivated not least for the innovative combination of plastic and metal that uses the strengths of both materials.
