Printing for external customers |
When the end customer makes his selection from the shelf, the decision will often be based on the colours, pictures and illustrations on the can or tin. Making sure that colours are printed best possible on cans and tins is one of Glud & Marstrand’s main strengths.
Many years’ experience combined with modern printing and lacquering facilities makes us on of Europe’s largest and leading printing facilities in the fields of tinplate and aluminium printing. At our own lacquer and colour laboratory we test and approve colours and lacquers before they enter production lines. This way we make sure that the colours and lacquers the customers want on their products last throughout the entire process.

Glud & Marstrand can print and lacquer on tinplate and aluminium for external customers who manufacture metal packaging. Our own facilities can handle 2 to 6-colour printing and we regularly invest in new equipment. Recently, we have invested in a 6-colour press, which ensures considerable flexibility and high quality prints. Our laboratory keeps up-to-date with the newest developments in colour and lacquering technology, making sure that the customers’ design is optimised for the printing process ending with the best possible image on the can or tin.
