It is important that packaging, filling and sealing equipment is handled correctly in order to ensure that the packaging and its contents meet the high demands regarding quality and durability.
Glud & Marstrand’s technical support assists customers to select, install, adjust and maintain filling and sealing equipment. It is important that our customers have equipment that treats our products correctly, so the final product fulfils the demands regarding quality, shelf-life and appearance.

G&M’s technical support can be involved in several ways, for example:
- A customer has changed supplier to Glud & Marstrand and needs a type of can already produced by G&M. G&M advise about adjustments to the customer’s existing production equipment and tools so it is ready for G&M’s can
- A customer contacts G&M about producing a new type of can. G&M’s technical support advises about the purchase and installation of filling and sealing equipment, user training and running in new can in the customer’s production
- G&M conduct ongoing maintenance of existing customers’ filling and sealing equipment, and help to introduce new types of packaging. G&M’s technical service team carries out equipment maintenance and adjustment
- G&M hold courses for production personnel at the customers facilities, for example our own Double Sealing course
In addition we offer advice on how to handle cans and tins in connection with distribution. The cans and tins have very often passed through long list of tests and checks, that ensure the durability of the can and its contents in extreme climates. It is important that the can and its contents are not harmed during handling.
