Glud & Marstrand’s quality management system ensures that we comply with our own quality policies. This happens by means of ongoing management of our core processes towards a number of quality goals. The system is monitored by G&M’s management processes, supported by a number of supporting processes.
The system is effective for Glud & Marstrand’s development, sales, production and shipment of metal packaging from the factories in Hedehusene, Hedensted, Hjallerup, Løsning, Odense, Skive and Lysekil.
The quality management system complies with the certification demands for ISO 9001:2000.
The system comprises management processes, supporting processes and core processes. Where considered necessary these processes are supported by a number of instructions.

|
Management processes, supporting processes and core processes are collected in Glud & Marstrand's quality manual, and the processes are identical for all factories.
|
Our quality management is based on our quality policy:
- To be a favourable partner who develops produces and markets products in a quality that satisfies customer demand
- To instruct and motivate all employees to do things right the first time, and by doing this contribute towards a constant quality improvement throughout the entire organisation
- To select and cooperate with suppliers who show both the will and capacity to live up to our demands
- To determine quality goals for the entire organisation with respect to G&M’s strategy and monitor them closely through the quality commission
- To evaluate and test the quality management system constantly to continue to improve the efficiency of the system and ensure that it always complies with ISO 9001
|
All the company employees are responsible for quality, but depending on individual tasks quality responsibility is connected directly to the product and/or how to improve the quality of the product.
We distinguish between:
- Employees
- Management
- Specification managers
- Executive management with reference to director or functional manager
- Company group
- Divisions
|
|
The quality committee is responsible for evaluating the efficiency of the quality management system. In addition the respective division managements monitor the system and its efficiency at extended monthly management meetings.
