•Glud & Marstrand’s aim is that our production facilities have as small an environmental impact as possible. Our goal is to integrate our environmental control with our quality control and hygiene control.

Green accounting is one of the methods employed by Glud & Marstrand to ensure a clean environment in connection with the production of metal packaging. The goal of green accounting is closely to monitor the environmental issues related to our production, and by this maintain focus on how we best can ensure minimal environmental impact on our surroundings and the lowest possible energy consumption.

Green accounting includes the following elements:
–Emission of VOC
–Electricity, gas and water consumption
–Waste water control
–Waste handling
–Consumption of various raw materials including tinplate, lacquers, organic solvents and other chemical substances.

Glud & Marstrand’s environmental policy
As a minimum to observe environmental lagislation end regulatory requirements in force at the time in question.

To improve our processes continuosly in order to reduce the impact on neighbours and environment.

To make goals for essential environmental factors.

To follow essential environmental factors continously and start uo relevant measures of improvement.

Each year to make environmental reports for each factory and the green reports comprised by legislation for the local production facilities.

To inform openly of environmental issues to employees, authorities, neighbours, customers, suppliers and other interested parties.
