Close to 80% of all buying decisions are made in the shop. Often, the packaging of a product is the last – and only – influence. Interesting and new packaging attracts attention and helps tell a story about the product within.
This is why we consider packaging to be an indispensable sales parameter, and in order to secure our customers value-adding packaging options, we have committed ourselves to innovation.
Our definition of innovation is every adaptation of packaging that can create more value for our customers. Innovation ranges from the development of new printing designs and methods to new lids that are easier to open than existing types.
The key words for us in the innovation process are inspiration and cooperation.
In order to keep up-to-date with packaging trends and technical possibilities, we work with a network of suppliers, creative partners and technological institutes. New ideas for packaging grow out of creative sparring with our customers, which are then developed by our Corporate Technical Centre in cooperation with our technological partners.
G&M’s product and process development departments; Marketing, VISIGN and the Corporate Technical Centre are staffed by a team of highly qualified specialists in the fields of metallurgy, production technology, product development, industrial design and marketing. Each specialist is in contact with a wide network both in Denmark and abroad. This guarantees that we can handle the development process from beginning to end.
